(SPOILER) I think some of the bosses like romania saint bud need a buff same with midra last Boss needs a minor nerf

So I finished the dlcs Final boss 2 days after release, for spoiler reasons I will not say their name if you somehow don't know who they are yet, and yes I used spirit summons. These summons along with the Scadutree Blessings only exist to help you in progression. I am hardly an above average gamer and I suck ass at elden ring, but I managed to do the dlc, in a brand new Ng save file, using means available to me, in under 72 hrs. I am now currently working on my summonless run and am in the progress of fighting Messmer. It's hard but doable. I dont see the issue, you play the game for it to be hard and they delivered

Idk man I’ve beaten a handful of the bosses in Shadow while being under leveled DLC wise as I didn’t really explore I found Messmer and just headstrong beat him with maybe level 3 or 4 Sacdutree Frag blessing I just 100% know it wasn’t higher than level 5

They have luck to don’t play it in NG It’s really hard

well we said elden ring was called the easiest souls game so from software gave us what we wanted

Why do people want an extension of a game to be beat in less the a few days… they would complain it’s not worth the money

I am so unbelievably ass at Elden ring that I didn’t know about ash of wars until rannala. I bought the dlc and I feel like I’m doing a SL1 run blinded with my controller smashed into 1 million pieces with 100 people sucker punching me in the back of the head and I think the dlc is great.

I want this controller so bad I had 2 white whales when it comes to controllers being this and a stadia controller but I found a stadia controller for 8 bucks the other day so now I only need this one

It's not too hard, but the bosses are broken. The hit boxes are broken on some bosses. I would say that at least %50 of the boss attacks that killed me didn't even connect

Should have made a Batman Beyond game with Kevin Conroy's last voice over passing the torch to a new younger batman to carry Bruce Wayne's and Conroy's legacy. That's seriously all we wanted. What a missed opportunity.

Honestly every body is right, i played every single from soft game and lived everything, grew up with ds3 in 2016 and got the platinum on anything but Ds2. The dlc is great but the damage i really too high. I don t mean to fully hate the damage, in fact i Like the ammounts dealt by most enemyes but the problem comes from bosses with long ass comboes with weird hitbox es Like mesmer and the final boss(not spoiling). It feels right that a single swipe deletes half your health bar, what feels unfair is a 10 Attack combo with very similar chained combinations that cover 360 degrees around the boss in wich every Attack deals more than 1000 damage. Just for the sake of tesring i used My max Level character Against mesmer with the most optimal buff combination for resistance and you can At Max tank 4 hits of the 14+ Attacks combo also seen in the ash of war of his spear(althought tuned down). The only boss the felt fair was rellana since her long comboes had most swipes deal less damage than The single Attacks. Don t get me wrong taking half the combo still kills you but it gives room for errors. With mesmer or fb you don t get theese moments. This doesn t mean i m going to give up. Screw you fb, i will avenge you mohg, you were right all along

Most complaints i saw were about stutters

Tbf, I think it’s more fun when the damage & health stats aren’t what’s crazy & the attack patterns are what is.

I’ve been playing since the original demon souls on the ps3. This dlc is fuckin annoying. Makes me not want to play bc of the waste of time/life playing for hours and getting no where bc of the massive cheese these npcs have. I think they have Tourette’s

This is what happens when devs take thier time on the game before announcing it. Not like cyberpunk. Where they teased it. Then when the community got angry enough and they released it prematurely.

OK so I'm a "newer" player and only started playing Elden Ring late last year and recently beat Messmer The Impaler so I've played enough into the DLC to say this they made the DLC harder than the base game so 1 people don't just fly though without any problems and 2 because a lot of people kinda asked for this by saying for 2 years that Elden Ring was "easy"

The DLC is one of the hardest things i've played ever. Yet idk why people are complaning, Its a soulsborn DLC. wtf are you expecting, Miyazaki to give you a cakewalk?

I could not beat the dlcs final boss by myself so I summoned somone and it was the first dlc boss I did that for if you are not enjoying it summon people to help

Bro the dlc is cake, no complaints, it’s very good n not difficult at all in my opinion. Almost done completing all bosses n areas. Its actually a breath of fresh air to play dlc better then most full release games. Can’t wait for the palworld update tho lmao

This dlx broke up my friend group. We all havnt played together since ds2, and were all looking forward to jolly cooperation. Well two of them took thendlc challenge really seriously, then 2 days in screamed bloody muder amd everyone stopped playing till last night, and now we are all at different points. Its very strange because everyone wanted AND expected the dlc to be hard.
